Tailored for our Year 7 to Year 11 students, the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) emphasises critical thinking and connecting learning to real-world issues. The programme culminates in a personal project demonstrating student inquiry and application of their acquired skills.
A rigorous pre-university course for students in Year 12 and Year 13, the IB Diploma Programme (DP) is recognised globally for its academic breadth and depth. A huge thank you to the Red Cross Foundation staff and volunteers for their support, and a special shoutout to our Y13 Blood Drive student team and their teacher, Martina O'Connor for organising this event.

Yesterday Discovery College and DBIS hosted a friendly football tournament that brought together nearly 100 players from Years 5 and 6. The event showcased impressive skills and teamwork, all while fostering a spirit of respect and camaraderie.
Under a bright sun, players from both schools took to the field, displaying tenacity and competitive spirit. Highlights included thrilling goals and outstanding saves, but what truly stood out was the sportsmanship shown by all participants. Players cheered for one another and respected referees, creating a positive atmosphere.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the teachers who organised this event and to the senior students who coached the teams.

They learned about Dyscalculia and enjoyed some fun dancing to raise awareness. Remember, Dyscalculia isn't linked to intelligence—many talented individuals shine despite this challenge!

Last week, our U20 boys' and girls' basketball teams participated in the 2025 Green Division ACAMIS basketball tournament in Xi'an hosted by XLIS. Through the 3 days of intense basketball, both teams showcased exceptional talent, each suffering only one defeat throughout the competition, and proudly continuing their impressive four-year winning streak.
Congratulations to the DC Cobras ACAMIS teams for their excellent performance! A big thank you to the coaches and to the DC Sports team for all the work behind the scenes and for a successful tournament.

Last Saturday, DC hosted over 130 students from across Hong Kong and Macau, engaging in workshops and with renowned speakers from industry and academia on the theme of sustainability.
The conference was designed and delivered by our incredible students. From the structure of the day, to the design of a menu made from locally sourced, organic ingredients, through to the facilitation of breakout seminars and the hosting of fireside chats and much more.
It was a triumph. And a joy to, not just see our students engage with such an important theme, but for the growth they experienced through the process. Thank you to all the staff who supported them from start to finish.

Today, our Year 5 students did a fantastic job promoting the blood drive in the foyer, spreading awareness about the importance of donating.
Our Year 2 students showcased their learning about forces yesterday. From hands-on experiments to creative displays, our young learners confidently shared their knowledge of push and pull, gravity, and friction with their proud family members.
It was an incredible day filled with excitement and smiles!
Last week, our U20 boys' and girls' basketball teams participated in the 2025 Green Division ACAMIS basketball tournament in Xi'an hosted by XLIS. Through the 3 days of intense basketball, both teams showcased exceptional talent, each suffering only one defeat throughout the competition, and proudly continuing their impressive four-year winning streak.
Congratulations to the DC Cobras ACAMIS teams for their excellent performance! A big thank you to the coaches and to the DC Sports team for all the work behind the scenes and for a successful tournament.
Last Saturday, DC hosted over 130 students from across Hong Kong and Macau, engaging in workshops and with renowned speakers from industry and academia on the theme of sustainability.
The conference was designed and delivered by our incredible students. From the structure of the day, to the design of a menu made from locally sourced, organic ingredients, through to the facilitation of breakout seminars and the hosting of fireside chats and much more.
It was a triumph. And a joy to, not just see our students engage with such an important theme, but for the growth they experienced through the process. Thank you to all the staff who supported them from start to finish.
