Indication of summative assessment: In small groups students will devise a piece of Melodrama. Skills and techniques will be explored and developed through the rehearsal process and conveyed in performance. Students will demonstrate their knowledge and understanding by conducting a research investigation into an element of Melodrama and presenting that their findings in a method of their choice. Assessment of personal engagement is conducted as an ongoing process throughout the unit in practical work and the Developmental Workbook.
